Social Emotional Coaching
Give your kid the superhero cape they need to rock life as their authentic best self.
Pandemics, disasters and social media, oh my! Navigating the challenges of modern life is stressful for all of us, and especially for developing or neurodivergent nervous systems.
Mindfulness-based social emotional learning (SEL) instruction gives kids the tools they need to respond skillfully to the inevitable storms of life and grow healthy relationships along the way. Parents are welcome to join and grow their SEL alongside their child!
Explicit SEL instruction pairs nervous system literacy with the SHARE Storytelling Routine to:
Transform misbehavior into rich learning experiences
Cultivate a growth mindset and personal leadership skills
Improve emotional literacy, nervous system regulation and responsible decision-making
Teach deep listening, perspective-taking, and social awareness
Support executive functioning with multisensory strategies for increased independence
Elevate personal storytelling to the domain of conflict resolution
